Dielectric grease is a water-repellent grease used to seal electrical connections and wiring from salt, dirt & corrosion. It also helps to prevent voltage leakage around electrical connections.
Some uses include (but are not limited to):
- Corrosion prevention on electrical connectors
- Lubricant for rubber, ceramic and plastic-with a high temperature resistance (e.g. O-rings, gaskets and seals). Examples include use on spark plug boots to prevent fusing.
- Extend life of light bulb sockets
Note: This product is for 85g of Permatex Dielectric Grease and NOT 9g of Permatex Dielectric Grease which is more commonly sold.
