NRT Automotive 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

At NRT Automotive we stand behind our products. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from us, just return the item(s) in a new & saleable condition within 30 days of purchase from www.nrtautmotive.com.au for a prompt refund (less any shipping & handling charges incurred). No restocking charges, no hassles! Please note some exclusions apply – see below for further information.

Returns Policy

All items must be returned in new condition. Returned items cannot show evidence of use or wear, dirt, or blemishes of any kind. Merchandise must be returned in its original packaging and should include all supplied materials, instructions, warranty cards, original accessories, hardware, and any software provided.

We recommend that merchandise be securely packaged and insured for the full retail value, as we are not responsible for lost/damaged packages. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

All returns require pre-approval authorisation. To obtain a RMA number, please fill out the form on the Contact Us page or email returns@nrtautomotive.com.au. Once we provided a RMA number, the goods can be returned to the following address:

Please note the following items cannot be returned in the event you change your mind:

  1. Custom wiring harnesses; and/or
  2. Any goods cut to a custom length (e.g. wiring, heat shrink etc).

Statutory Warranty

All refund rights under both State and Commonwealth law apply.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure. If the failure is minor, we reserve our right to offer to repair only. We reserve the right to not offer a refund or an exchange coupon.

NRT Automotive Warranty Guidelines

NRT Automotive products are covered by a limited, one year warranty, unless otherwise noted.

Returns under warranty requires a pre-approval authorization from NRT Automotive. Please contact us before returning any product under warranty.

The Customer must provide the original proof of purchase which demonstrates compliance with the above conditions to receive any services under this warranty.

The warranty only applies where a defect has arisen, wholly or substantially, as a result of faulty manufacture, parts or workmanship during the warranty period.

The warranty does not apply where damage is caused by other factors, including without limitation:

  1. Normal wear and tear;
  2. Abuse, mishandling, accident or failure to follow installation/operating instructions;
  3. Exposure to liquid or infiltration of foreign particles or substances;
  4. Servicing or modification of the product other than by NRT Automotive, or their authorized service agents;
  5. Use of the product with other accessories, attachments, product supplies, parts or devices that do not conform to NRT Automotive’s specifications or recommendations; or
  6. Shipment or other transit.

This warranty does not cover:

  1. The replacement of any consumables (e.g. batteries);
  2. Software provide with, or for, the products;
  3. Repair or replacement of any product damaged during transit to or from NRT Automotive; or
  4. Any loss or consequential damage incurred while the product is being repaired.

NRT Automotive should be solely responsible to decide whether a warranty claim meets the above requirements and limitations.

When NRT Automotive agrees with a warranty claim, it is at the discretion of NRT Automotive as to whether the defective product will be repaired or replaced. NRT Automotive will do its best to repair, or provide a new product to the customer in a timely manner, however cannot commit to any delivery or shipping dates.
